My first flu in Australia
INSIDE: Dovetail Hackathon, Microconf Masterminds, AI Automations
I’m way too sick to post anything serious this week. Can you believe I caught a cold twice in two months? Winter here in Sydney is really throwing me off.
Anyway, here are a few things I’m excited about in the coming weeks and months.
My very first Dovetail hackathon. You’ve probably guessed it—I pitched an AI-related idea. I want to build Dovetail’s own GPT and publish it in OpenAI’s app store. I won’t reveal exactly what it’s supposed to do (don’t want to get in trouble lol), but don’t expect too much. I’m still not 100% sure if this will get published, but let’s see.
I’m thinking of joining a mastermind group. But I’m still not sure if it’s a good idea. It sounds great because having a support group of fellow entrepreneurs could be incredibly beneficial. The MicroConf Mastermind program matches entrepreneurs at the same stage as me. But here’s the thing. We’re all going to be absolute newbies, so this group will mainly be for accountability rather than learning. And, $250 for an accountability group feels a bit pricey.
More cool projects using AI. There are two main tools I want to explore: Zapier Central and Synthflow. Zapier Central combines OpenAI’s GPTs with Zapier/Make.com. An all-in-one experimental platform for building AI automations, which is right up my alley. Synthflow, on the other hand, is a platform for creating conversational AI agents. Remember the movie "Her"? Yeah, it’s possible to build custom agents like that now. A bit scary, but fascinating at the same time.
That’s all for now. Hopefully, I’ll be back to full health soon and ready to dive into these exciting projects again. Stay tuned!
